Bryan Sedway
Bryan Sedway, CLU*,
ChFC**, and CAP***, is the principal of Sedway Financial. With over 20
years experience as a Financial Services Professional, Bryan maintains
his practice as a registered representative of Park Avenue Securities
(PAS). Bryan lives his life based upon a commitment to truth, integrity,
competence, hard work and helping others. He has integrated those life
principles into his career as a financial services professional by providing
solutions that are client-oriented and backed by a pledge of exceptional
service.
Bryan has distinguished
himself as a knowledgeable, independent and trustworthy professional in
the areas of Wealth Accumulation, Business Succession, Executive Compensation,
Estate Conservation, and Tax-Exempt Planning.
Bryan is an active
member of the Estate Planning Council of Reno, serving as President (2002-2003).
He is past president of the America Society of CLU and ChFC, Sierra Nevada
CLU, ChFC Society (1997-1999). He is the past president of the Northern
Nevada Planned Giving Round Table (2005-2006).
Since 1993, Bryan
has worked and lived in Incline Village, Nevada, located on the beautiful
North Shore of Lake Tahoe. When not at work, Bryan his wife Elizabeth
and their children enjoy hiking, mountain biking, snow and water skiing.
While Bryan loves his life in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, at heart, he
may always be a Texan. Bryan was born in Midland, Texas and his family
worked successfully in the oil and gas business for many generations.
Bryan, himself, was a Petroleum Land Agent, responsible for oil and gas
investments in the Western United States and holds a real estate brokerage
license.
Bryan graduated from
Texas Tech University, home of the Red Raiders, in 1983, with a bachelor's
degree in business administration with an emphasis in investments.
*CLU - The Chartered
Life Underwriter is the world's most respected designation of insurance
expertise. This designation is for those with in-depth knowledge on the
insurance needs of individuals and business owners.
**ChFC - Chartered Financial Consultant. This designation is awarded to
those who have completed an educational program offered by The American
College, passed 10 exams covering financial planning, investments and
insurance. The individual has also met experience and ethical standards
and achieves continuing education requirements of 15 hours yearly.
***CAP - Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. This designation is for those
who have acquired the knowledge to help clients reach their philanthropic
goals while also meeting their non-charitable estate planning and wealth
management needs.
